EGA Dayton Ohio Chapter was formed in 1975 and is part of the Great Lakes Region. There are three EGA Dayton groups and each group meets monthly:

The Wednesday Group
meets the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., Christ United Methodist Church, Room 116, 3440 Shroyer Road, Kettering, OH 45429. Dutch treat lunch nearby follows at noon. Contact Ann Madges.

The Saturday Stitchers meet at 10:00 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month, Room 116 Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Road, Kettering, OH 45429. Contact Jean Paterson.

The Satellite Stitchers meet 1st Wednesday (except July, August and December), 9:30 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1801 St. Paris, Springfield OH. Contact Bette Kelley.

The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., (EGA), formed for the express purpose of fostering the art of needlework and associated arts, is made up of 13 regions across the US and Canada and is comprised of 345 chapters, including a cyberspace chapter, with international representation among the nearly 16,000 members. EGA is a not-for-profit corporation headquartered in Louisville KY.
The mission of EGA is to stimulate appreciation for and celebrate the heritage of embroidery by advancing the highest standards of excellence in its practice through education, exhibition, preservation, collection and research.
